UNDERGRADUATE REQUIREMENTS
Undergraduate admission requirements
Pre-Acceptance Requirements
Complete the following to have your application reviewed:
Online Application
Applicable application fee
Unofficial high school transcript, GED documentation, and/or college transcripts
Copy of Driver's License, State ID, or Passport
Admissions Questionnaire & Essay
Proof of bacterial meningitis vaccination or approved exemption, when required
Applicants under age 22 must provide documentation of meningitis in accordance with Texas requirements. The vaccination must have been administered within the preceding five years.
Freshman applicants should have a cumulative high school GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale and should have completed at least:
3 years/credits of English
2 years/credits of Social Studies
2 years/credits of Mathematics
1 year/credit of Science
Applicants who do not meet these academic requirements may be referred to Academic Affairs for additional review and possible probationary admission.

Standardized test scores & college placement
ACT, SAT, CLT, TSIA2, and ACCUPLACER scores are not required for general admission, except for applicants for whom standardized testing is specifically required, including homeschool applicants.
Students are strongly encouraged to submit available scores because qualifying scores may be used for placement into college-level English and mathematics.
Students who do not submit qualifying scores demonstrating college readiness will be placed into the appropriate developmental/remedial English and/or mathematics coursework.
dual credit students
Students who earned college credit while in high school are still considered first-time freshman applicants.
An official college transcript must be submitted directly from every college or university through which dual-credit coursework was earned, even if those courses also appear on the high school transcript.
post-acceptance requirements
After acceptance, students must submit:
Final official high school transcript showing graduation
Official transcripts from every college or university attended, including dual-credit institutions
Any remaining health, financial, housing, or enrollment documents required by ABU
Official Transcript Requirements
Official transcripts must be sent directly from the issuing institution to Arlington Baptist University through an approved electronic transcript service or by United States Postal Service.
Documents uploaded, emailed, or forwarded by the student are not considered official transcripts.
