Report a crime

To report a crime in progress or suspicious activity that you are witnessing, dial 911 and then ABU Security at 682.326.7272. ABU Security will document your call in the Security Daily Activity Report.

Citation Appeals

To appeal a parking citation, please contact psmith@abu.edu.

parking regulations

Dorm students may park in the designated dormitory parking lot. All other students must park in the large lot located off North Crowley Road. Parking in spaces designated for faculty or staff is strictly prohibited and may result in a citation.

All students must have an ABU parking pass affixed to their windshield. Parking passes can be obtained from the Front Office. For questions regarding parking, please contact Campus Security.

Meet the Team

Britt Snipes


  • DIRECTOR OF CAMPUS SECURITY

    Britt Snipes is a 1976 graduate of Sam Houston State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. After serving the community for many years with the Arlington Police Department and the Midlothian Police Department he earned the title of Texas Master Peace Officer and is honorably retired.

    Mr. Snipes earned his Texas Teaching Certificate in 1998 and served 22 years as a criminal justice teacher at Cedar Hill High School; teaching forensic science, fundamentals of law, and police practices.

    As Director of Campus Operations and Chief of Security his primary objective is to ensure the health, safety, welfare, and security of all students, faculty, staff and visitors.
