Dr. KeToya Lacey

DIRECTOR OF ONLINE LEARNING & DEPARTMENT CHAIR OF BUSINESS

Dr. KeToya Lacey, Ed.D, CDFM, is a purpose-driven educator and strategic leader who exemplifies the Arlington Baptist University mission to engage, equip, and empower authentic, biblically grounded professionals. As Program Chair and Instructor for ABU’s Business and Sport Management programs, Dr. Lacey oversees a thriving academic department, guiding more than 200 students and nine faculty members with a Christ-centered commitment to excellence in teaching, curriculum design, and student engagement.

With over 15 years of experience across higher education and federal financial leadership—including service at the Department of Defense and Fortune 500 company DuPont—Dr. Lacey brings a rich blend of academic rigor and real-world expertise to her courses. She has taught more than 20 business, accounting, leadership, and economics courses and developed dynamic Canvas-based learning environments that boost student performance and reflect her passion for innovation.

Dr. Lacey holds a Doctor of Education in Performance Improvement Leadership from Capella University and a Master of Science in Accounting from Drake University. She is also a Certified Defense Financial Manager and a dedicated mentor, frequently integrating faith-based leadership, biblical ethics, and stewardship into the classroom. Through every lesson and leadership role, Dr. Lacey lives out her calling to prepare students not only for career success—but for a life of service, integrity, and impact for the Kingdom.
