The School of Interdisciplinary Studies provides students with a pathway to pursue distinctive or innovative combinations of coursework in two areas of study such as business issues, communication, humanities, and ministry. Through this program, you can work with academic advisors to craft a degree plan that works for your unique gifts, talents, and interests.
Program Goals

To establish a Christian worldview as a foundation for meaningful interaction with the world.

To develop the skills to critically analyze and interact productively with other worldviews.

To equip students to effectively communicate to the 21st-century world the eternal and timeless truth of Jesus Christ.

Bachelor of Science in Bible
& Interdisciplinary Studies
Students with unique interests and backgrounds and undecided about a career in vocational Christian ministries, but who desire training in Bible and related courses for church work and personal spiritual formation will be interested in this program leading to a Bachelor of Science degree in Bible and Interdisciplinary Studies. Students complete ABU’s Core program of Bible, Spiritual Formation, and general education requirements and work toward two 18-hour concentration areas of study.
