Association of Biblical Higher Education
Arlington Baptist University is accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education Commission on Accreditation (5850 T. G. Lee Blvd., Ste. 130, Orlando, FL 32822, 407.207.0808) to grant certificates and degrees at the Baccalaureate and Master's levels.

American Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers
The University's registrar is an affiliate member of the American Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers. AACRAO establishes criteria for credit transfer practices and professional assistance in recruiting, admissions standards, and preservation of records.

Texas Higher Education Board
The Coordinating Board, Texas College and University System, is authorized by the Texas State Legislature to establish standards and criteria for degree granting institutions. The Coordinating Board has determined that Arlington Baptist University has authority to grant degrees in the State of Texas by virtue of its fully accredited status through The Association for Biblical Higher Education (formerly the Accrediting Association of Bible Colleges).

Teacher Certification
Arlington Baptist University offers a Texas Education Agency (TEA) approved Educator Preparation Program. ABU students may be approved for State Board of Education Certification (SBEC) exams in the following areas:
